Wilma Kalbach, 92, passed away peacefully in her Pennside home on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Born in Heidelberg, Germany, she came to the United States after marrying her husband, Henry L. Kalbach, who was serving in the United States Army.
Wilma was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking. Her eyes lit up when the UNO card deck came out. She was a member of the Blue Mountain Eagle Climbing Club, taking Sunday morning hikes with her husband up until his passing in 1996.
She will be remembered lovingly by her children, Elisabeth, wife of Robert Paustian, of Wilmington, DE, Diane, wife of Eric Barto, of Cloverdale, CA, Christine, wife of Richard Wildermuth, of Reading, Heide, partner of Nick Elia, of Lancaster, and Michael of Reading. Wilma took pleasure in visits from her grandchildren, Nathan Paustian, husband of Kelly, Megan, wife of David Powers, Lauren Paustian and Sarah Wildermuth. She also had three great-grandsons, Gavin, Jackson and Ronan.
She was predeceased by one son, Ralf.
A Graveside Service will be held privately at the request of the family.
