William R. "Billy" Becker Sr

William R. "Billy" Becker, Sr., 62, of Blandon passed away Monday December 12th of natural causes in his residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Donald Becker of Blandon and the late Jean (Gift) Becker.

He was a member of Maidencreek Church in Blandon.

He graduated from Fleetwood High School. He served in the U. S. Marines.

He was formerly employed by the Blandon Fire Co. as a bartender and for many years at Empire Steel in Muhlenberg Twp.

He was a member of Blandon Fire Co. and the Pikeville Sportsman Club.

Survivors include two children, William R. Becker, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Sinking Spring and Jenny Lyn Bagwell and husband Steve of Stafford, VA.

Grandchildren, Dominic and Isabella Becker, Marc and Torry Rees, and Devon, Miya, Mikey, and Joshua Bagwell.

Great Grandchildren, Joseph and Beau Smalley and Paxton Scott.

A brother, Donald Becker and wife Theresa of Blandon.

There is a niece, Lyn Becker and a nephew Donald G. Becker, Jr.

He was previously married to Maria Taylor.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 16th at 8:30 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8 pm.

Interment will be at 11 am on Friday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with military honors.
