Virginia F. (Maywhort) Buchter-Kramer

Virginia F. Buchter- Kramer, 79, of Centre Township, passed away on March 7, 2021 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, on April 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathrine (Morris) Maywhort.

Virginia was the widow of the late Robert L. Buchter, who passed away in 1986.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixteen years, Robert L. Kramer.

She was employed by the former Narrow Fabric Industries Corporation of Wyomissing. She was a member of Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, Cathy wife of Larry G. Kilpatrick of Hamburg and Joel Buchter of Shartlesville as well as her step children; Christopher husband of Carol Kramer of Spangle, WA and Pamela Kramer of Silver Spring, MD. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Larry G. Jr. husband of Heather Kilpatrick of Blandon and Tori Buchter of Vermont, her step grandchildren; Kristen Kramer of Illinois and Kaitlyn Kramer of Spangle, WA, her great grandson Lucas David Cole Kilpatrick and her sister Peggy wife of Daniel Smith of Mohrsville. There are also many nieces and nephews surviving.

In addition to her first husband, Virginia is predeceased by her sister Sara Kreider-Ptorskie.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 am in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522, with Wayne Johns officiating. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made in Virginia’s memory to Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560.

Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
