Thomas J Walter

Thomas J. Walter, 88, of Centre Township, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Reading Hospital.

Born on August 18, 1935, he was the son of the late Thomas and Hulda (Serfass) Walter of Exeter Township; Thomas grew up in Lorane.

A former Berks County Skeet Shooting Champion, Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local # 19 for 34 years before retiring.

Thomas is survived by his sons, Jeffrey S. Walter, husband of Tracey (Vetro), of Douglassville and Bradley Walter of Birdsboro. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his siblings, Gail, Madeline, Harold, and James

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home.
