Teresa (DiCamillo) Amadio, 89 formerly of Temple passed away May 12, 2015 in Manor Care, Laureldale where she was a patient 1 week.
She was the widow of Bernardino Amadio who passed away March 30, 2001.
Born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Giuseppina (Mastroletti) DiCamillo.
She and her husband owned and operated Amadio, Inc. Mushroom Farm, Muhlenberg Township from 1962 until her retirement in 1986. She was a faithful member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park and was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary to the St. Marco Society in Temple.
She is survived by 1 son, Germano Amadio husband of Rita Amadio and 3 daughters, Domenica wife of Luigi Candelori, Francesca wife of Filippo Vallonio and Anna Maria wife of Andrew Alvine all of Muhlenberg Township. There are also 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Adeline DiCamillo in Italy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in Holy Guardian Angels Church with the Rev. Msgr. Dennis T. Hartgen and Rev. E. Michael Camilli celebrants. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Berks County PO Box 6683 Wyomissing, PA 19610 or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200 Bethesda, MD 20814.
