Sylvia R. (Kraatz) Snyder

Sylvia R. (Kraatz) Snyder,75, of Bernville passed away Wednesday evening in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was married to the late Clark “Skip” Snyder.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. Kraatz and Elsie E. (Lesher) Kraatz.

Sylvia was a graduate of Penn Bernville High School.

She was employed in the cafeteria for the Tulpehocken School District for many years.

She was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.

Sylvia loved her family very much, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter, Rosann K. Becker and husband Michael K. Becker of Bernville.

There are two grandchildren, Jeffrey M. Becker and wife Katherine A. Becker and Kaytlin R. Kramer and husband Zachary J. Kramer both of Bernville.

Also, there are three great grandchildren, Morgan Becker and Shelby  and Maverick Kramer.

Sylvia was predeceased by a sister, Sonja Kraatz and a brother, Barry Kraatz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 11:00 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 10 until 11 am in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.
