Susan V. (Prushinski) Hart

Susan V. Hart, 75, formerly of Bernville, passed away on Thursday evening at Complete Care at Berkshire Center.

She was married to the late Mathew A. Hart who passed away January 30, 2016.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Olga (Sufrinko) Prushinski.

In her earlier years she was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Kutztown.

Susan and her late husband Mathew owned and operated the Peanut Shack at the Fairgrounds Square Mall during the late 1980’s

She was formerly employed at B.R. Grumpy’s and T. J. Maxx.

She loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

Surviving are the following children: Jeffery M., husband of Maria Hart, of Westfield, MA; Stephen E., husband of Melissa Hart, of Leesport; and Lisa A., wife of John Wisner, of Mohnton.

There are six grandchildren: Ashley, Tanner, Lauren, Zachary, Jacob and Olivia.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
