Scott Cory Kalke, 55, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Tuesday May 3rd in Tower Health-Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of Helen D. Semaska, wife of Algirdas Semaska of Myerstown and the late August J. Kalke, husband of Cecilia Kalke.
He graduated from Hamburg High School and was a welder for many years.
Scott was a member of Northkill Rod and Gun Club, Strausstown Rod and Gun Club, and the Mt. Pleasant Fire Co.
He was very active in the Demolition Derby Circuit and was named “Sickhead”.
Additional survivors include Scott’s significant other, Cindy L. (Welby) Bossler, Cindy’s children, Corinne, Erika, and Elena and Cindy’s six grandchildren.
Also, a sister, Aimee D. Ruffner and husband Ben T. Ruffner of Bethel.
A step sister, Amber Rizzo and husband Dan Rizzo.
There are eight nieces and nephews, one great nephew, and two step nieces.
Scott is predeceased by a loving son, Cory August Kalke who tragically passed away December 12, 2018.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3pm at the Strausstown Rod and Gun Club Pavilion where there will be an informal service followed by a pig roast and beer wagon (BYOB).
Bring your own lawn chair and fishing rods.
During the service there will also be a dedication of a bench to honor August, Scott, and Cory Kalke.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations may be made to the Strausstown Rod and Gun Club, P. O. Box 13, Strausstown, PA 19559 toward a bench for a memorial in memory of August, Scott, and Cory Kalke.
The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
