Sally A. (Rothenberger) DeSantis

Sally A. DeSantis, 70, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 22nd in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

Sally was the widow of the late Emidio DeSantis who passed away June 24, 2009.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Rothenberger and Mary (Kantner) Rothenberger.

Sally attended Muhlenberg High School. She was employed as a sewing machine operator for twenty five years for Temple Apparel.

Sally enjoyed traveling to the casinos and playing bingo.

Sally loved spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren.

Surviving is one son, Scott McKently and wife Sharon of Muhlenberg Twp. There are three grandchildren, Derek, Matthew, and Michael McKently.

Sally is also survived by her siblings, Richard Rothenberger, Sr., and wife Georgeann "Peanut" of Laureldale, Joan Cagnetti, wife of
Mario of Temple, and Jeffrey Rothenberger and wife Elsa of Laureldale.

Sally is predeceased by a brother, William Rothenberger and survived by his wife Doris.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening August 27th from 6:30 until 8:30 pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28th at 10 am in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of Resurrection, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale with entombment to follow in the adjoining Mausoleum.
