SALINDA JANE (SHIRK) WAGNER

Born December 18, 1932 our mother passed away peacefully in the comfort of her Bernville home on Monday, June 12th. Salinda, age 90, was the widow of William H. Wagner.

Salinda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Salinda was a daughter of the late Elmer and Susanna (Wenger) Shirk, and the sister of the late Lester, Lloyd, S. Richard, C. Paul, Elmer Jr. and N. Jean Eisenhower. Surviving are four Children; Brenda A. (E. John Reich) Oley; Connie L. (Roger Kreiser) Bethel; William H. Jr (Kathy Kramer) Robesonia; and Douglas R. Grandchildren: Ronald Lutz Jr (Jamie), John Reich (Aimee), Justin Reich (Leslie), Angela (Josh Moyer), Bradley Lutz (Stephanie), Jared Reich, Amy Lane, Lacey (Josh Haugh), Zachary Wagner, Brandon Wagner, William Wagner III, and Taylor Wagner. Great-Grandchildren: Kaylee (Mitchell Mazzilli), Carter, Chase, Aden, Landen, Austin, Zoe, Vincent Jr, Charles, John Jr, Jameson, Megan(Joe Ponzio), Harrison, Alexis, Kayden, Cheyanne (Robert Strickler), Chaia, Ceanna, Bradley, Levi, Liam, Oliver, Gracie, Lacey, Katie, Avery, Alexis, Allison. Great-Great-Grandchildren; Stella, Lillian, and baby Mazzilli. Salinda is also survived by a brother, Raymond Shirk (Sylvia) Bernville, and sister’s-inlaw, Annamae Shirk, Blandon, Grace Shirk, Bernville, and Emma Kline, Hamburg and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Salinda and William together owned and managed several dairy farms.

She retired from Armour Handcraft, Inc., Womelsdorf.

Her interests included camping, attending Bluegrass festivals, boating, reading books, fishing, casino trips, BINGO, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, Phillies baseball, and Eagles football. She was a member of St. Thomas Church, Bernville Grange, Bernville Youngat-Heart Seniors Club and local Bernville Card Clubs. Salinda loved babies and children. Her pride and joy were her Quadruplet grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held privately at Kirkhoff Funeral home, Bernville. Pastor Bruce Farrell will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Church, Bernville or the American Cancer Society.
