Ruth L. (Moyer) Ketner

Ruth L. (Moyer) Ketner, 86, of Womelsdorf, formerly of Bernville, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 in Manor Care in Sinking Spring.

Ruth was married on August 8, 1953 to Dale E. Ketner Sr. with whom she shared 68 loving years of marriage at his time of passing on August 26, 2021.

Born in Bernville, she was the daughter of the late Miles A. and Emma E. (Umbenhauer) Moyer.

Ruth was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville. She enjoyed working on all kinds of crafts, especially crocheting and working on ceramics. Ruth and Dale also had a great deal of blueberry bushes at their home which Ruth tended to with great pride.

Surviving are two loving children, Dale Ketner, Jr., husband of Marjorie, of Sinking Spring and Jackie F. Lesher, wife of Gerald, of Strausstown.

There are four loving grandchildren, Stefanie L. Royds, wife of Christopher Royds, Andrew T. Lesher, Nathan M. Lesher, and Allison R. Redcay, wife of Scott Redcay. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Alexandra E. and Landon J. Royds, and Taylor, Emma, Delilah, Angela, and Nicholas Lesher.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
