Russell L. “Pop” Becker, 91, passed away Saturday evening at the Manor Care Sinking Spring. He was the husband of Dolores A. (Fetterolf) Becker with whom he shared a loving marriage of sixty-nine years.
Russell served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed by Textile Machine Works and later by Polymer Plastics from where he retired.
He enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles, and spending time with his family and friends. His sense of humor and many jokes will be missed.
“Pop” will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren , and great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Russell was predeceased in death by his fourteen brothers and sisters.
The Becker family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care that was provided by the staff at Manor Care, Sinking spring and Heartland Hospice.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 A.M. at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
