Rodney L. Swartz

Rodney L. Swartz, 73, of Penn Township, died Friday night at Tower Health Reading Hospital, West Reading.
He was the loving husband of the late Linda L. (Keppley) Swartz, who died December 8, 2011.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Arlene E. (Long) Swartz, of Bernville, and the late Elmer M. Swartz.
Survinging in addition to his mother are two daughters; Kim E. and Heather M. Swartz, of Bernville; a son, Charles T. Swartz, of Fargo, ND; and a brother, Elmer Swartz, of Wyomissing.
Mr. Swartz served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Navy.
He was empoyed for over thirty years as a laborer by Post Precision Casting Company of Strausstown.
Cremation services are being provided by Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville.
