Robert M. "Wick" Wicklein

Robert M. Wicklein, 83, of Temple died Friday at 7:35 A.M. in Manor Care, Laureldale. He was known to many as, simply, "Wick."
Robert was married to Margaret M. (Morgan). Born April 13, 1930 in Reading, he was the son of the late Martin A. and Irene (Seyfret) Wicklein.
Robert served the U.S. Marine Corps as a Gunnery Marine Sergeant during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retiring in 1971. He later worked for Ransome Lift Equipment as a parts department clerk. Also, Robert was a volunteer for the Muhlenberg Ambulance Association and the American Cancer Society.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a step-son, Wm. Allen Stolz, husband of Lorraine M. of Oley. Also, there are two step-grandsons, Gregory D., also of Oley and Bradley T. Stolz of Warrington.
Private family services are entrusted to the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple. Interment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that absolutely no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540 or the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
