Robert P. "Bobby" Miller 71 of Jefferson Township died Monday evening in Penn State St. Joseph Hospital where he was admitted last Saturday.
Bobby was born in West Reading on September 2, 1945. He was the son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Stella L. (Eisenhower) Miller
Surviving are three sisters and a brother. Helen I. Styer of New Holland; Arlene M. wife of Harold Haas of Robesonia; Evelyn M. wife of Roy Wagner of Womelsdorf; and Paul E. Jr. husband of Deborah Miller of Laurinburg, NC
Mr. Miller was a member of Freiden's Church of Shartlesville. He, also, was a member of the Strausstown and Millcreek Rod & Gun Clubs.
He graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in the Class of 1964.
Robert served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was presently employed for the past fourteen years by the County of Berks at Berks Heim in the laundry department. Prior to his present employment he had been employed by Dana Corporation for thirty-three years last working as a press operator.
Funeral services will be held from the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville on Monday at 10:30 A.M. with is pastor the Reverend Inge Williams officiating. Interment in Freiden's Cemetery, Shartlesville.
Family will receive friends on Monday 9:30 A.M. until time of service.
Family would ask that you make contributions to the charity of your choice in memory of their brother.
