Robert D. “Bobby” Luckenbill, 90, of Penn Township, passed away Friday, March 4th in St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem.
Bobby was married to the late Shirley M. (Hoyer) Luckenbill who passed away October 21, 2015.
Born in Bernville, he was the son of the late Paul A. and Elsie M. (Miller) Luckenbill.
Bobby grew up farming, then continued his working career in general service for Stanley A. Klopp Inc., then later as a mechanic at Larry’s Texaco and Bernville Motors.
He was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a longtime member of the Northkill Rod & Gun Club. Bobby enjoyed dancing, shooting pool, bowling, and playing cards, especially Pinochle.
Surviving is his loving son, RickieLee R. Luckenbill, husband of Susan Luckenbill of Bethel, granddaughter, Danielle H. Mock, companion of Brian J. Oquendo, and great grandson, Elliot M. Mock, both of Wernersville.
Also surviving is his sister, Lorraine Hix of Shartlesville, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Arthur Luckenbill, Arlene Albert, Pauline Noll, Helen Miller, James Luckenbill, Marion Berger, and Chester Luckenbill.
There will be a funeral service on Friday, March 11th at Noon in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Pastor Stephen Hollinger officiating.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until Noon.
Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.
Masks are optional.
