Robert J. “Bob” Lash, 92, a longtime resident and businessman of Temple, passed away Friday in Tower Health, Reading Hospital.
Bob was married for sixty-seven loving years to the late Janet (Heller) Lash who passed away July 1, 2016.
Born in Temple, he was the son of the late John Adam Lash and Laura (Weber) Lash.
Bob was an icon in Temple, being a resident, and for sixty-nine years operating “Lash Welding”, located in Temple, where he specialized in welding, blacksmithing, fabricating steel, and fixed and repaired many other items, large and small.
Bob was a member of the Air National Guard.
Bob was a life member of the Temple Fire Co.
Survivors include two loving children, JoAnn Lash of Temple and James “Jim” Lash and wife Robin (Henry) Lash of Ruscombmanor Twp.
Bob was predeceased by his siblings, Mary (Lash) Miller, Harvey Lash, Florence (Lash) Seaman, Helen (Lash) Ebersole, Earl Lash, Mabel (Lash) Einsel, William Adam Lash, and Fern Lash.
Bob is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 11 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Reverend Robert Shuey officiating.
A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10 am until 11 am in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zions E. C. Church, 57 N. Church St., Mohnton, PA 19540 to assist in the cost of a roof for the church.
