Robert C. “Bob” Kripplebauer, 83, of Penn Township, passed away Monday, January 16th in Tower Health, Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was married to his beloved wife the late Miriam M. (Freeman) Kripplebauer who passed away January 12th 2022.
Born in Locustdale, Columbia County, he was the son of the late, Charles H. and Grace E. (Umlauf) Kripplebauer.
Bob was employed for thirty-one years by Lucent Technologies, previously AT&T, and retired as a millwright.
He was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.
Bob was an avid hunter and fly fisherman, in harmony with nature.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, Trout Unlimited, and the Rocky Mtn. Elk Foundation.
Bob traveled extensively with his late wife Miriam.
Surviving are three children, Robert R. Kripplebauer and wife Brenda Kripplebauer of Blandon, Richard A. Kripplebauer and wife Suzanne Kripplebauer of Wernersville, and Cynthia L. Kripplebauer and partner Mark Yocum of Wernersville. There is a step daughter, Mary Ann DelCollo, widow of James DelCollo of Shillington.
There are eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Bob is predeceased by a sister, June Leach.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 11 AM in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Reverend Stephen Hollinger officiating.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday morning in the funeral home from 9:30 AM until 11 AM.
Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.
