Robert K. Dombroski, 87, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Saturday, January 15th in his residence.
Robert (Buzz) was married to his wife, Betty (Lutz) Dombroski, for 66 years.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Constanty and Stella (Petroski) Dombroski.
Robert retired from Lucent Technologies in Reading after thirty-five years of employment, retiring as a supervisor.
Robert served in the U. S. Army.
He was the extended-family historian over the decades, never to be seen without a camera in his hand. Robert and his family enjoyed vacationing at their home away from home in Cape May, NJ where they liked long bike rides and spending hours on the beach. He could fix almost anything and enjoyed teaching his family about the universe. Robert’s grandkids’ favorite memory is playing card games, especially Michigan Rummy with his homemade rummy board.
Additional survivors include three children, Beth Knaub, wife of Darryl Knaub of Springfield, Craig Dombroski, husband of Tammy Mohr of Columbia, Lancaster Co., and Melissa Levine of Rumson, NJ.
He was a loving PopPop to his seven grandchildren, Rachel, Ethan and wife Genevieve, Alexandra, Avery, Emma, Miles, and Demi.
There is a predeceased sister, Dolores Bowers.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family due to Covid precautions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Processing Center, P. O. Box 1510, Ranson, WV, 25438.
The Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
