Rita M. (Fish) Richel

Rita M. Richel, 91, of Temple, passed away on January 17, 2022, at her niece’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 14, 1930, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Dorothy M. (Gulden) Fish. She was the wife of the late William Richel.

Rita proudly served her faith as Franciscan Third Order Lay Nun.

Rita is survived by her sister, Janice Pettit and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons John, Steven and Mark Richel and sisters Dorothy Smith and MaryLee Kline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 11:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels RCC, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605

Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery.
