Richard L. Stoudt, 86, formerly of 3401 Sheidy Avenue, Muhlenberg Park, died Tuesday at 11:45 p.m. in the Mifflin Center, Shillington.
He was the widower of Anna S. (Sayer) Stoudt, who died October 15, 2013. They would have been married 64 years this month. Born in Shoemakersville, PA on March 27, 1929, he was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Florence M. (Mengel) Stoudt.
Surviving is a son, Richard L. Stoudt Jr. of Fleetwood and a grandson, John C. Stoudt, Muhlenberg Park.
A sister, Grace Phillips, died in 2014.
Richard was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Teamster's Union.
He attended the former Perry Township High School.
Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was an avid hunter for many years and a weekly bingo player.
He lived his life totally for his family, particularly his son and grandson.
Mr. Stoudt was last employed as plant manager of the Reading Coca Cola Plant for forty years, retiring in 1990.
Funeral services from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple, on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment is in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
