Richard L. Kline, 86, of Bern Township died Tuesday, May 17th in the Southeastern Veterans' Center, Spring City where he had resided since April 4th.
For 57 years, he was the life partner of Raymond Klingler who died November 3, 2013. Born in Muhlenberg Township, he was a son of the late Lloyd Kline and Helen (Ketterer) Miller.
He was employed for 40 years as a dairy herdsman for Scattered Acres Farm, Bern Township until his retirement in 1991.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton. He is survived by 1 brother. Morris H. Kline husband of Rosina Kline of Leesport and 1 half sister, Joyce wife of John Hoffman of Douglassville.
There are 2 step sisters, June James of Hanover and Sarah Seyler of Wernersville as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Rd. Temple with the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Gibralter.
The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to service time.
