Richard M. Crossley, Jr., who had also been known as "Jr.", 69, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away early Tuesday morning, July 15, 2014 at the Reading Hospital.
Born in Barto, PA, he was the son of the late Richard M. Crossley, Sr. and Doris (Epler).
Richard had been employed as a forklift operator for Dana Corp. for 37 years and subsequently worked for Mid-Atlantic Exporters for three years.
He enjoyed snowmobiling and making crazy creations.
Survivors include his children: Richard M. Crossley III of Leesport; Ronald L. Crossley, husband of Julie A., of Bernville; Shannon K., wife of Keith L. Peters, of Leesport; Jeanette M. Dunn of Orwigsburg; and Victoria L. Witman of Leesport.
Richard was predeceased by a son, Cory R. Dunn.
There are eight grandchildren: Justin M. Crossley; William R. Hoffman; Felicia Y. Crossley; Jevin L. Peters; Taylor A. Crossley; Connor C. Witman and Shawn P. Witman, Jr. and their father, Shawn P. Witman; and Jamison E. Peters.
Also surviving are siblings: Terry, Bruce, Randy, Ralph, and Karen Crossley.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19th at 11 a.m. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA with Rev. Robert G. Argot officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
