Randy L. Miller

October 25, 1953 — February 13, 2015

Randy L. Miller, 61, of Dover Plains, NY, died Friday, February 13, 2015 in Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, CT., after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Oscar B. and Marian (Sittler) Miller of Bernsville.

Randy graduated from Tulpehocken High School in 1971, afterward studying at Mansfield University, Pace University, where he received his Bachelors Degree, and then went on to receive his Masters. He worked as a Business Manager for 22 years with J & J Lumber and then 10 further years with Golden Bridge Unit Step Company. Randy proudly served his country for 10 years with the Army and Air Force.

He was a Past Master of St. Luke's Lodge #48 AF&AM Masonic Lodge in Kent, CT.. Randy was known for being a wonderful self-learned cook. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling. Randy was also an active member of St. Andrews Parish in Kent, CT.

Surviving along with his parents are a former wife, Barbara L. (Hamcke) Miller; daughters, Lindsay Sabo of Connecticut, and Allison Russo, and husband Jeremy, of Delmar, NY; grandchildren, Carolyn, Emiline, and John "Jack" Russo; sister, Brenda J. Eisenhower, and husband Robert, of Bernville; and nephews: Clint, of Harrisburg, Scott, of Myerstown, and Mark, of Rockville, MD.

The family would like to especially thank the kind and loving support network that Randy had in New York.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 19th at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 North Main Street, Bernville with Rev. Bruce Potteiger and Rev. Roderick Sutliff officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery of Centre Twp., Mohrsville. Friends and Family are welcomed to view from 9 am until time of service in the funeral home.
