Raedell J. Lutz

Raedell J. Lutz, 81, a resident of Topton Lutheran Home, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Robert D. Lutz, Sr. who passed in 2010. Raedell was a daughter of the late Sherwood and Carrie M. (Davis) Frick.
Raedell was an active member of the Faith Evangelical Congregational Church in Temple where she was a former board member and sang in the Choir. She was employed at Exide for 35-years working in the distribution center and casting room. Raedell was close to her sister and every Saturday afternoon they ate lunch and watched a movie together. Raedell was a blessing to everyone she met, her kindness and witty humor will be missed by all who knew her.
Raedell is survived by her two daughters: Sherilyn J., wife of Harold Weaver, Jr. of Fleetwood and Shawn E., wife of Craig D. Strause of Muhlenberg Twp.; eight grandchildren: Patrick Lantz, Shannon Boone, Nick Elia, Derek Strause, Brandon Elia, Chad Lutz, Josh Lutz, and Colin Lutz; and thirteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Raedell is predeceased by her sister, Mildred Groff of Riverview Park and her son, Robert D. Lutz who passed in 1988.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, Pa. Pastor Brett Kindig of Faith E.C. Church will be officiating.
The viewing will be just prior to service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Raedell's daughters are grateful for the 8-years of extraordinary care their mother received from the nurses and staff at the Topton Lutheran Home.
