Pauline K. Spitler formerly of Bernville died Thursday morning at Columbia Cottage, Spring Township where she had been a guest since July 3, 2016.
Pauline was the widow of Theodore A. Spitler, who died April 5, 1985.
Mrs. Spitler was born in Center Township, Berks County on April 16, 1919. She was a daughter of the late James I. and Tama E. (Wagner) Klose.
Surviving are two sons; Theodore K. Spitler of Roswell, GA. And James K. Spitler of Dunwoody, GA. A son, Kenneth K. Spitler, died as an infant.
Pauline was blessed to have eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mrs. Spitler was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Bethel. She was accomplished at crocheting. For many years she was a member of Mount Pleasant Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Pauline was a sewing machine operator for twenty-three years being employed by the former Rackman Industries and Reading Clothing Company. She sewed Navy hats during World War II.
Funeral services from the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with her grandson, Reverend Kenneth C. Spitler officiating. Interment in Salem UCC Cemetery, Bethel.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
