Patricia A. Wert

Patricia A. (MIller) Wert 80 of Muhlenberg Township died Thursday evening in the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of Richard D. Wert who died February 19, 2016.

Mr. Wert was born in Reading. She was the daughter of the late Irwin and Minnie (Shoemaker) Miller.

Surviving are her loving children; Michael R. husband of Carol A. Wert of Kutztown, Steven D. husband of Joleen Wert of Bumpis Mills, Tenn.; Holly L. wife of Mark Kiebach of Temple, and Brian S. husband of Julie Wert of Shillington. Eight Grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wert was a member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, Temple. She was a graduate of Reading High School. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.

Mrs. Wert started her career with the former Grants Department Store, and the former S & H Green Stamp Store as a clerk. She later was employed by Clover's Farm Dairy of Muhlenberg Township as a secretary, and lastly she was a secretary for Nationwide Insurance of Temple.

Funeral services from Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Brett Kindig officiating. Interment in Salem United Brethren Cemetery, Tilden Township. Family will receive friends on Wednesday 9:00 A.M. unitl time of funeral service.
