Nora J. (Landis) Sheidy

Nora J. Sheidy, 82, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Berks Heim Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on November 4, 1939, she was a daughter to the late Nelson and Catherine (Seibert) Landis. She was the wife of the late Russell A. Sheidy, Jr. whom passed away on September 6, 1993.

Nora is survived by her children, Christina M. Mengle, wife of Brian, of South Carolina, Charlene A. Sheidy of New Holland, Cheryl L. Good, wife of Martin, of West Lawn and Cory K. Sheidy. Also surviving are grandchildren, Matthew Mengel, Jason Mengel, Jessica Mengel, Amanda Hnot, Jonathan Good and Sunny Sheidy; Great grandchildren Addison Hnot and Sophia Good and one brother, Patrick Landis, husband of Ginny.

She was predeceased by one sister, Charlotte K. Comito.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, with a graveside service held at Forest Hills Memorial Park immediately following.
