Mildred Jean (Frick) Groff, 76, of Muhlenberg Twp., died Sunday evening April 26, 2015, in her home with her loving family in attendance.
Daughter of the late Sherwood Henry Frick and Carrie Mirandia Davis Frick.
She was a Loving Mother, a Great Cook and Baker, making many Family Holiday's and Special events a pleasurable time. She was employed many years in Food Services, Where she eventually retired as Manager at ARA.
She was a member of Faith EC Church in Temple.
Mildred (Millie) is survived by her children; Wanda Joffred, wife of Douglass Joffred Sr. , Robin Scalese wife of John Scalese Jr., Daniel Veryl Groff III, Sherwood Groff husband of Nora Groff, and Troy Groff husband of Laura Groff. 9 grandchildren, Douglass Joffred Jr. husband of Michele Joffred, Melissa Joffred, Heather Stricker wife of Ryan Stricker, Daniel Veryl Groff IV, Jessica Cammarano, Nicolas Groff, Sabrina Groff, David Montanez and Estefania Montanez. 4 Great grandchildren and by her sister: Raedell Lutz, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and grandson Joseph Groff.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 1st at 10:30, am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Pastor Brett Kindig officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will take place on Friday from 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall East, Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19106 and American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
