Michael T. Weaver 64 of Tilden Township died Wednesday afternoon in the Reading Hospital where he had been a patient the past two weeks.
Born in Union City, Indiana on September 23, 1949, he was the son of Elizabeth B. (Wickel) Weaver of Myerstown and the late Albert H. Weaver Sr.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters Rowena M. Mohn of Sinking Spring and Rose A. wife of Carlos Serrano, Sr. of Hamburg, with whom he resided. Three brothers; Albert H. "Sonny" Weaver, Jr. of Robesonia, Wayne A. Weaver of Orwigsburg, and Elden E. Weaver of Lititz.
He had nineteen nieces and nephews, who enjoy sharing memories of the "stories" he told them growing up; he also had forty great nieces and nephews.
Michael's twin brother, Melvin E. Weaver, died July 1984.
He attended the Carlisle Church of Christ, Carlisle, PA.
Michael had retired on disability two years ago but had previously been employed in the food industry with Cracker Barrel of Hamburg, Taco Bell and Mc Donald's, and had also been employed at Robin Hill Campgrounds, Lenhartsville.
For twenty-five years Michael was employed as a mason tender; for many of those years he enjoyed working alongside of his brothers.
Funeral services from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Monday at Noon Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service with Pastor Alex Du Bee officiating. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
