Merlin J. Grube

Merlin J. Grube, 92, of Centre Township, passed away Wednesday December 6th in his residence.
He was married to the late Earline E. (Blatt) Grube who passed away April 25, 1974.
Born in Barnesville, Schuylkill Co., he was the son of the late Walter Grube and Amy (Rex) Grube.
For his entire life Merlin was self employed on his family's farm.
He was a member of St. John's Gernant's Church in Leesport.
He enjoyed and was a very good woodworker.
He is survived by his children, Allen P. Grube and wife Mary (Fishburn) Grube and Priscilla A. Grube both of Centre Twp.
There are two grandchildren, Jay Grube and wife Dorie and Kenneth Grube and wife Ashley.
There are six great grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, and Jason Grube and Michael, Zachary, and Madison Martin.
There are three deceased siblings, Albert Grube, Albert Nester, and Ida Longenbach.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Merlin will be buried alongside of his late wife Earline in Fairview Cemetery (Belleman's Church) of Centre Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2201 Ridgewood Rd., Suite 180, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
