Melvin W. Brown

Melvin W. Brown, 77, of Perry Twp., passed away Thursday
May 22nd in Reading Hospital.

He was married to Bette L. (Filman) Brown. Melvin and Bette celebrated fifty seven years of marriage.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late George and Ella (Weidow) Brown.

He was formerly employed by Interstate Corestack Co. of Reading, Richcraft Kitchens of Robesonia, and Quakermaid Kitchens of Leesport.

He was member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Muhlenberg Twp.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Additional survivors include two children, Glenn A. Brown, husband of Debbie of Mohrsville and Brenda L., wife of Ira Johnson of Denver, Colorado.

There are six grandchildren, Seth, Shawn, Holly, Jenny, Michelle, and Tara.

Also, five great grandchildren, Keegan, Connor, Aiden, Zayden, and Gionnah..

There is one brother, Charles Brown of North Carolina.

A graveside service will be Wednesday May 28th at 11 am in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton Rd. and Route 61, Reading, PA 19605 (Muhlenberg Twp.)

The Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
