Mary Jane (Feick) Wolf

Mary Jane (Feick) Wolf, 88, a resident of Phoebe Berks, formerly of Upper Bern Township, passed away on January 21, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

Born on October 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Adam E. and Irene E. (Kauffman) Feick.

Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband, Frederick W. Wolf Sr.,  whom she married on September 22, 1951 and shared sixty-nine years of marriage.

She loved to garden, both flowers and vegetables, and would also can the vegetables from her garden. She was a member of the Shartlesville Fire Company, Friedens Church in Bernville, and the former Order of the Eastern Star Blue Mountain Chapter #443 in Hamburg.

Mary Jane was a homemaker for most of her life. In her earlier years she was employed in the garment industry.

While her husband Fred was stationed in the United States Air Force, she worked at Creamie’s Ice Cream in Illinois where she indulged in her favorite pass time of eating ice cream.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother Samuel C. Feick husband of Betty of Wyomissing.

She is preceded in death by her son Frederick W. Wolf Jr. and her sister Miriam M. Lewis.

A graveside service will be held at Friedens Church Cemetery, 28 Wolf Creek Road, Bernville PA 19506 on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Inge M. Williams officiating.

Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
