Mary Ann (Lessig) Spang

Mary Ann (Lessig) Spang 90 of Reading died July 30, 2015 at the Columbia Cottage, Wyomissing where she had resided for the past seven years. She was the widow of Dr. James R. Spang who died March 23, 1992.
Mary Ann was born in Reading on February 2, 1925. She was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Wegman) Lessig.
Surviving is a cousin Daniel Hoffman of Hudson, NY
Mrs. Spang was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church of Reading. She was a graduate of Reading High School and had taken classes at Albright College.
Mary Ann was president, director and chairperson of the board of the American Society of Utility Investors, New Cumberland.
Funeral services from Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Bryan J. Spang officiating. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Family visitation on Wednesday 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be offered in Mary Ann's name to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1055, Reading, PA 19603-1099
