Mary Ann (Rudy) Schaeffer

Mary Ann Schaeffer, 80, of Topton, passed away Wednesday, March 9th in Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.

She was married for fifty-three years to the late Mark P. Schaeffer.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Fisher) Rudy.

She was employed for many years as a sewing machine operator at Ma-Be Textile’s outside of Bernville.

She enjoyed crocheting and solving puzzles.

She was a member of Christ Little Tulpehocken Church, Jefferson Township.

Surviving is a sister, Betty Schaeffer, wife of Ray Schaeffer, a niece, Harmony Wentzel and husband Matthew Wentzel, and a nephew, Harley Schaeffer, husband of Agnes Schaeffer.

There are three great nephews, Owen Wentzel and Caidyn and Devin Schaeffer.

Funeral services will be private.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
