Marilyn G. (Clark) Stoudt, 82, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, March 1st after a lengthy illness.
Born February 18, 1933 in Marblehead, MA, she was the daughter of the late Prescott H. Clark and Helen (Doliber) Knight.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Richard A. Stoudt.
Additional survivors include her children, Karen Wilkins-Quillman, wife of Glenn Quillman of Pottsville and Wendy L., wife of Thomas DiBello of Elverson. There are four step children, Kathy Zweizig of Virginville, Larry & Mark Stoudt of Bethel and Dean Stoudt of Upper Tulpehocken Twp.
There are seven grandchildren, Jesse Antonini and wife Britney, Elizabeth & Lucy Wilkins-Quillman, Erin and Ethan Zweizig, and Mark and Christopher Stoudt.
Also, five great grandchildren, Giovanni, Parker, Graciee, Dominic and Sophia. Grandson Antonio Antonini preceded Marilyn in death.
There are four brothers, Allen H. Clark of Virginia Beach, VA, Alden P. Clark of Boxford, MA, and John V. LeBlanc and Lester V. LeBlanc both of Danvers, MA.
Marilyn is survived by a step mother, Helen Clark of Danvers MA.
Marilyn was formerly employed as a cook at the Shartlesville Fire Co. and later worked at Kings Bakery in Hamburg and caregiver for her mother in law, Katie.
Marilyn lived for Christ and her family. She was an active member of Christ Evangelical Free Church in Strausstown. She enjoyed sewing and gardening in her spare time.
There will be a viewing in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville on Friday evening, March 6th, from 6 until 7:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8th in Christ Evangelical Free Church, 8477 Route 183, Bethel, PA 19507, (north of Strausstown) starting with a viewing from 2-3pm. Services will commence at 3pm.
Interment will be Monday March 9th at Freidan's Church, Shartlesville at 10:30am.
Marilyn wanted everyone to celebrate her life and not mourn her death. She asked that all attend in jeans or whatever you are truly comfortable in - come as you are.
