Marie A. Zelano

Marie A. Zelano, 94, of Muhlenberg Park, and a guest at Berks Heim the last two years, passed away Saturday, August 13th in the Reading Hospital.
Marie was the widow of the late Phillip G. Zelano who passed away June 6, 1984.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo Fonte and Domenica (Carabello) Fonte.
Marie was a faithful member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.
Marie was a graduate of Bryland Institute of Beauty Culture and was a hairdresser for over fifty years.
Marie will be greatly missed by her loving daughter, Phyllis M. Bohn and her son in law James R. Bohn of Muhlenberg Park.
Marie is survived by her sisters, Josie, widow of Sam Perrotto of Exeter Twp., Mary wife of Bob Fiorillo of Telford, PA, Rosie wife of Joe McDonald of Cary, NC.
Also her brothers, Natel Fonte, husband of Jeanie Fonte of Reading, Pete Fonte, husband of Mary Fonte of Fleetwood, and Tony Fonte, widower of Ethel Fonte of Greenfields.
Marie was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Fonte and Leonard Fonte, widower of Phyllis Fonte.
Marie will be forever remembered by her numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 20th at 10:30 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Hyde Park, Reading, PA 19605 with Rev. Msgr. Dennis T. Hartgen celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of Resurrection Mausoleum.
A viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 8:45 until 9:45 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to Holy Guardian Angels RCC at the above address.
