Lynne A. Hurst

Lynne A. Hurst, 75, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Sunday August 10th in Manor Care Health Services in Laureldale.

She was married to Rodney J. Hurst. Lynne and Rodney had celebrated fifty nine years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Fern (Bittle) Spatz.

She was employed by the Reading Hospital and Medical Center as a secretary in the operating room for twenty seven years.

Lynne and Rodney traveled extensively throughout the United States and enjoyed camping at Robin Hill Campground in Lenthartsville.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband Rodney are two children, Deborah L., wife of Eric Biegler of Muhlenberg Twp. And Michael R. Hurst of Clanton, Alabama.

There are four grandchildren, Marc and Andrew Biegler, Michael Hurst, and Heather Riojas.

Also, six great grandchildren, Lukas, Gavin, Paul, David, Caitlin, and Aaron.

There is one sister, Jill, wife of Brian Young of West Wyomissing.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Donna Feltenberger and Lorna Mohring.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
