Louis J. Ciabattoni, 86, of Temple, passed away Monday July 20th in the Reading Hospital.
Louis was married to the late Clara A."Connie" (Paci) Ciabattoni who passed away December 21, 2003.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Depardo) Ciabattoni.
Louis was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
Louis was employed by Dana Corporation. He then was a Mushroom Grower for Frush Valley Mushroom Co. for thirty years retiring in 1991.
Louis assisted his parents in the family business, Honest John Cafe, in Reading, which was also the name of the racecar he owned.
Louis was one of the founding fathers of RSCA at the Reading Fairgrounds Racetrack.
Louis was a lifetime member of St. Marco Club in Temple.
Surviving are four daughters, Lois A., wife of Thomas Holland of Temple, JoAnne R., wife of Joseph Biscanti of Exeter Twp., Sharon M. Kirkpatrick and companion Keith Mandich of Birdsboro, and Tina M., wife of Richard Barr III of Wernersville.
There are ten grandchildren, Dean Dougherty, Nina and Ryan Kirkpatrick, Sherry-Ann Maurer, wife of Shawn, Louis Holland, Tina Dean, wife of David, Angela Ondik, wife of Ryan, and Brent, Amanda, and Sara Barr.
Also, six great grandchildren, Jaxon Kirkpatrick, Dominic and Nino Maurer, Nicole, Noah, and Nolan Dean.
Louis is survived by his fiancé, Jessie Lill. He is predeceased by a sister, Jeannette, widow of Lindy Vicari.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 27th at 10 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Hyde Park, Reading, PA. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 until 9 pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA.
