Lou Janette Leininger, 91, passed away on June 5, 2024, at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill in Pottsville.
Born on April 4, 1933, in Rehrersburg, she was a daughter to the late Adam George Shartle and Corine Rebecca (Himmelberger) Shartle. She dedicated 45 years of her life to Binner Sewing Factory as a Machine Operator before retiring. Lou Janette was known for her unwavering dedication and exceptional work ethic throughout her career.
She is survived by her niece, Wendy Mae Shartle and nephew, Todd Page Shartle along with three great nephews and one great- niece, who were the loves of her life. In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Jonathan Shartle.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 11,2024 at 11:00am at Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, 27 Maria Street, Rehrersburg.
