Lloyd Alvin Snyder Jr

January 14, 1948 — September 27, 2018

Lloyd A. "Tick" Snyder Jr., 70, of Reading, PA, passed away on September 27, 2018. He was the husband of Jacquelyn I. (Landis) Snyder. Lloyd and Jacquelyn celebrated thirty eight years of marriage.

He was born on January 14, 1948, in Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Lloyd Snyder Sr.

Lloyd was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who worked hard each day to provide for his family. His family was his greatest treasure, and he was the happiest in their loving company.

Lloyd attended Reading High School. He retired from the Reading School District.

Upon retirement, he worked part time for Desantis Transportation and Infinity Transportation Services until 2016.

As a young man, Lloyd spent many days and weekends doing his favorite thing, playing fast pitch softball throughout Berks County. He was known as, "Tick the Arm". His great moments were winning numerous fast pitch softball tournaments and celebrating his accomplishments with his teammates throughout Berks County.

After retirement, Lloyd also volunteered with the Muhlenberg High School Softball Team.

He is survived by daughter, Kimberly, wife of Chris Radka; daughter, Kristin Snyder, life partner to Joann Williams of Margate City, NJ and grandchildren Brandon Pierce and Hailey Radka.

Brothers: Clyde Snyder, husband to Carol Snyder and Bruce Snyder.

Sister, Elaine Crammer, Reedsport, OR.

Friends and Family may call on Thursday, October 4, from 4:00-6:00pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple
