Lillian M. (Long) Madeira

Lillian M. (Long) Madeira, 97, of Bernville, passed away Friday, September 30th in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was married to the late Howard D. Madeira who passed away in 2010.

Born in Tulpehocken Twp., she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. Long and Erma L. (Frantz) Long.

Surviving are two sons, Philip H. Madeira of Bethel

and Eric R. Madeira and his wife Gina of Leesport.

Lillian was predeceased by a daughter Melanie Madeira who passed away in 1971.

She is also survived by two siblings, Betty Henne of Bernville and Carl Long of Delaware.

Lillian was employed at the Heidelberg Country Club and retired from Bernville Manufacturing.

Lillian loved traveling, card club, and being active in her Bernville Community. Most of all, Lillian loved her dear friends, her family, and her four-legged furry grandchildren.

Lillian was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville

Services will be private at the convenience and request of the family.

Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.

The Kirchhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
