Kevin J. Becker

Kevin J. Becker, 62, passed away on March 19, 2022 in Reading Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born on July 9, 1959, he was the son of the late Jay Becker and Maryann (LaFaver) Hefflefinger. He was the husband of Annette (Cordier) Becker with whom he shared 31 years of marriage.

Kevin was a 1977 graduate of Fleetwood High School. He was employed for 2 years by New Enterprise Lime and Stone. Prior to that, he was employed for 22 years by E. J. Brenneman. Kevin also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Blandon Fire Company #1 for 40 years. He was a member of Maidencreek Church. He also held memberships at Horace M. Kieffer Home Assn. and he was a lifetime member of the Blandon Hunting Camp.

Kevin loved shooting pool for the APA league. He was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed fishing in Delaware, hunting and riding his Harley before ALS took those pleasures away from him. He once rolled a 300 game in his bowling league and also played fast pitch softball on various teams for many years.

In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by his children, Sean Donovan, fiancé of Charissa Soja, Michael Kauffman, husband of Jennifer and Kevin C. Becker. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alisa, Keira, Blake, Adalyn, Lainee, Kayson, Reily and great granddaughter Za’Mira; Siblings, Allen Becker, husband of Thiago Veronez, Tina Heckman and Wayne Becker, Sr., husband of Wendy, along with several nephews.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a Memorial Service begging at 8:00 pm in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple. The family request that casual attire be worn to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation’s in Kevins name may be made to the Blandon Fire Company #1, P.O. Box 139, Blandon, PA 19510.
