Kenneth T. Mengel

Kenneth T. "Popsicle" Mengel, 86, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Tuesday December 10th in his residence.

He was married to Marilyn Mae (Moser) Mengel.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Hazel (Taylor) Mengel.

He was a truck driver and diesel mechanic for Branch Trucking in Reading and C. W. Pletz Trucking in Glenside.

He served in the Navy during WW II.

Surviving with his wife Marilyn are his children, Sandra, wife of Jerry Hussmann of Mohrsville, Kenneth W. Mengel and fiancé Sharon Krammes of Bethel, Brian R. Mengel husband of Michelle of Temple, and Jill, wife of Philip Raccuglia of Temple.

There are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

There is also, a brother Ernest Mengel of Shillington.

A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday December 18th from 10 until 11 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
