Kathryn B. Stoudt

Kathryn B. Stoudt, 80, of Tilden Twp., passed away Tuesday December 17th in her residence.

She was married to the late Harold R. Stoudt who passed away November 16, 2004.

Born in Lower Heidelberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late John A. Sheidy and Helen (Bender) Sheidy.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School.
She was employed as a secretary for thirty years for the Hamburg Area School District in the Tilden Elementary School, retiring in 1998.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Shartlesville, where she was a former church treasurer. She attended Friedens Church in Shartlesville. She was a Sunday School Teacher, member of the Ladies Aid Society, a founding member of the Grief Support Group, and a member of the Bible Study Group.
Also, for many years she was a member of the Shartlesville Grange.

Surviving are her children, Karen P. (Stoudt), wife of Scott Henne of Hamburg, David J. Stoudt of Leesport, and Bob Stoudt, husband of Tracy of Huntsville, Texas.

There are seven grandchildren, Jonathan D. and William R. Stoudt, Tricia L. Henne, Jennifer R. Epting, Rebecca L. Folk, and Dustin R. and Lexie N. Stoudt. There are seven great grandchildren.

She is survived by a sister, Gladys Behney of Wernersville and predeceased by a sister, Helen Kauffman.

Funeral services will be Saturday December 21st at 10 am in Friedens Church, 28 Wolf Creek Rd., Shartlesville, PA 19554 with Rev., Jerry Kulp officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday morning from 9 am until time of service in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Friedens Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 366, Shartlesville, PA 19554. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
