Kathryn E. (Werner) Fox

Kathryn E. (Werner) Fox, 91, formerly of Leesport, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2012 in the Hearthstone at Maidencreek Assisted Living Facility.

Born in Bern Twp., , she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and Annie R. (Balthaser) Werner.

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, George; three brothers: James, Paul and Stanley, two sisters: Stella and Ethel, and her dear friend: Claire Berger with whom she resided with for many years. Surviving her are several nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was employed by the Diener Knitting Mill in Leesport for 32 years retiring in 1985. She was a lifelong member of Epler's Church in Leesport.

Many thanks to the staff at the Hearthstone for the loving care they provided her during her stay. Also, thank you to the thoughtful staff of Caring Hospice for providing her with compassionate services near the end of her life.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25th at 1:30 PM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Rev. Dave Bushnell officiating. Burial will follow in Epler's Church Cemetery.
Family and friends may attend a viewing on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until time of service in the funeral home.
