Kathleen M. (Keller) Springer

October 4, 1929 — September 29, 2014

Kathleen M. Springer, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Laureldale, passed away Monday, September 29th at St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp.

She was the wife of Jack M. Springer. Jack and Kathleen were married on July 25, 1953.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Catherine (Maurer) Keller.

Kathleen graduated from Reading High School.

She worked for W. R. Grace for many years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Kathleen got the most enjoyment from spending time with her family and her loving Westie, Daisy.

Surviving along with her husband are daughters: Sandra L. Vitalo of West Lawn; Marcia A. Spohn of Temple; Diane M., wife of Clarence Dyanzio, of Mohton; and Donna L., wife of Gary Scheipe, of Mohnton.
There are seven grandchildren: Scott Vitalo, husband of Stephanie; Brian Vitalo; Havilyn Spohn; David Spohn, Jr.; Gina, wife of Brandon Boyack; Jeff Dyanzio, husband of Elisabeth; and Kelsey Scheipe; and six great-grandchildren: Ian, Alec, and Mia Vitalo; Kalie and Rhead Boyack; and Jordyn Scheipe.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer T. Vitalo.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA, with Rev. Thomas Irwin, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Epler's Church Cemetery, Bernville.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
