Kathleen A. (Sheipe) Hoffman

Kathleen A. (Sheipe) Hoffman, 65, of Halifax, formerly of Laureldale, passed away in her daughter’s home on Sunday, February 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 20, 1956 she was a daughter to James and Anna (Faller) Sheipe. Kathleen was a 1974 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Kathleen was previously employed by Wanamaker where she worked as a manager for many years and then she worked for the Muhlenberg School District in the Cafeteria while her children attended school. Most recently, Kathleen was employed by Turkey Hill. Kathleen enjoyed cross stitching and reading. Above all, Kathleen was a doting mother and grandmother and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Melissa Schell, wife of David Schell, Jennifer Hoffman and Elizabeth Hoffman. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Carina, Ana and Anthony; Siblings, Susan Gross, wife of Max, Elaine Forry, wife of Tim, Joanne Shuman, wife of Larry, and James Sheipe, husband of Danielle.

A viewing will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 12, 2022 in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605.
