Karen L. (Rentschler) Bashore

Karen L. (Rentschler) Bashore, 71, of Bernville, passed away on  February 24, 2021 in Penn State Health St. Joseph's Hospital.

Born on June 26, 1949 to the late Roy and Marguerite (Strickler) Rentchler in Reading, PA. She was a graduate of Bernville High School. Karen worked as a Nursing Assistant for at BerksHeim for 45 years until her retirement in 2016.

She was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville and Northkill Rod and Gun Club.

Karen is survived by her sister, Kathleen M. Hoffert of Bernville, PA; Nephew, Ryan  Hoffert; Uncle, Dennis Rentschler and an Aunt, Shirely Flemmer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Rentschler, who passed away October 12, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the request of the family.

Kirkhoff Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
