Julian "Earl" Senat Jr., 81, of Maidencreek Township, passed away in Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital on April 22, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Julian Earl and Sarah ( Walker) Senat Sr.
Earl was the husband of Georgetta A. (Ostenreider) Senat, whom he married of May 7, 1977.
He was a United States veteran, serving in the Army during the Korean War.
Earl graduated from Overbrook High School, Philadelphia and continued some studies at Penn State University.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church, Fleetwood. He was also an associate member of NALC.
Some of his hobbies include collecting trains, train watching, building model railroads, going to flea markets and working on his house. He also spoke fluent Russian.
Earl worked at the Philadelphia VA, and for 33 years was a letter carrier at Conshohocken Post Office. He also worked as a maintenance man for Limerick Power Plant for 8 years and Wyomissing Public Library for 11 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Cheryl Y. Regan, Phoenixville; Julie A. Senat, Collegeville; and Terri L. Senat Garner, fiancée of Mike Pletcher Phoenixville.
Other survivors include his sister, Ruth Senat Spaide, Pottstown; grandchildren: Nick Lombardi, husband of Dana, Brian Simmons, Kelly Simmons, companion of Paul Schaffer; and great granddaughter, Olivia.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. There will not be a viewing prior. Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple, is in charge of arrangements.
